In the airport

Grandma Gini was leaving around the same time for Montana. We took the rail to see her for a minute.

The first day we had lessons. Seth, Abigail and I had a lesson together, and Levi had a lesson on his own. Daddy stayed with Levi all day because he was nervous after our last trip. His lessons didn't go very well last time, so we were hoping if he had a dedicated lesson he would catch up to the rest of us and we could ski together. Jackpot! It worked! After the first day we could ski as a family - one of Randy's life goals. Woohoo!
Levi kept telling us he liked to ski FAST. After the first day we had to caution him to slow down some times, and we also had to remind him to look straight ahead while he skied. He thought it was fun to watch whatever family member was behind him. Skiing without looking is a bad idea, but I think we finally got that across to him. He had a blast this trip.
Abigail is a cautious and competent skier. We did not have to worry about her at all. She was very happy to stay on greens with Mommy, but I imagine if she has another lesson the next time we go she will be more than ready to conquer the blues.
The first day Seth only made it through half of the day. Unfortunately this trip the altitude seemed to bother him. But he was ready to go the 2nd and 3rd days. He enjoyed skiing with the rest of us, but he was ready to try out blues. He and Daddy went on some long runs and had a lot of fun together.
On the shuttle one morning ready to hit the slopes
Levi coming off the ski lift for the first time with his instructor.
About to get on the lift
The kids thought hot chocolate was great when they needed to rest. I lost track of how much hot chocolate they drank. :-)
Waiting on Christmas day for Grammy, Uncle A.J., and Ms. Annie to ride up the gondola for lunch.
After eating lunch, we all had our picture made. Since it was Christmas Santa joined us in the picture.
Seth and Grammy
We took one day off from skiing. Uncle A.J. took Seth on a snow mobile trip. They had so much fun!
Resting their sore, tired bodies in the hot tub on the balcony of our condo.
I have a few more pictures to add. Coming soon....
